We apply a medical-grade topical numbing cream for 30 minutes before treatment, so most clients describe it as mild pressure or a light prickling sensation. Expect 1 to 3 days of redness similar to a sunburn, with mild flaking around day 3. You can wear mineral makeup after 24 hours. Most clients return to work the next day.
For most goals — texture, fine lines, glow — a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart delivers the best results. Acne scarring and stretch marks usually need 4 to 6 sessions. After your initial series, one maintenance session every 6 to 12 months keeps results going.
